Because of her problems with other kids after her return to USA (she was bullied and suffered from panic attacks), Summer was home schooled by her mother for a while. Later, Bishil studied at Citrus College in Glendora, California. Summer played on TV since she was a teenager. Some of her memorable roles are Leila Shirazi on 90210, Samira on Lucky 7, and Margo on The Magicians.
