She released her first single “This Time,” on July 11, 2011, via Interscope Records. Born Pia Ann Rose Toscano on October 14, 1988 in Howard Beach, New York, U.S. to Jane and Pat Toscano, she belongs to Italian descent. She has an older sister named Kimberly. She started appearing in talent shows at the age of four. She attended LaGuardia High School of the Performing Arts in New York City and graduated in 2006. In 2017, she married dancer Jimmy R.O. Smith.
